We tailor the systems to suit you – and, if possible, we can leaverage existing FOSS systems to help speed up the process. The beauty of FOSS is that the majority of the development is done already, we only need to add the extra features or integration that you require to achieve your business goals.

We can help you design your specifications, provide rapid prototypes so you can see if the systems will achieve your business goals, and then provide the full system.

We have developed:

• Desktop based software in Windows and Linux – we use toolkits that make porting easy, for example to Macintosh OS X.
• Web based applications – we use a variety of tools based on the LAMP stack, and/or Ruby-on-Rails, depending on the requirements.
• Database applications – often with a web based front-end.
• Embedded applications – requiring tight coding and careful use of resources, generally in C.
• Kernel Modules for Linux – e.g. for specialist kernel level network packet processing and deep packet inspection.

We also look at deployment issues such as how the system will work in the field, how it can be updated, deployed and serviced – we make this as easy and secure as possible, as it will often be us who does any follow-up work and support!
